ELIGIBILITY

SWIMMERS SHOULD:

• be 5-18 years of age

• have a basic foundation of swimming (e.g. swim lessons at a swim school, etc.)

• be able to swim one length of a 25 meter pool unassisted

• be able to tread water for 30 seconds

***If you are unsure if your child meets the above requirements, do NOT register your child for the team at this time. Instead, please make plans to attend the swim assessment with our coaches on Wednesday, April 22nd from 6:00-7:00 PM.

During the swim assessment, our coaches will evaluate your swimmer and will determine if your child can safely participate on the team. Because we are not providing swim lessons, we will invite your swimmer to return next season if your swimmer needs a stronger foundation. We want your child to be a part of the team, but more importantly, we want your child to be safe.
